Increase your visibility
Advertisement is still the most profitable business of Google and Facebook. The reason is simple, it works.
For any business, course or person to be successful people need to know about it or them. Not everyone but the right people, and essentially it’s what every ad agency does. It allows you to define your target audience with factors of age group, demographic or gender.. etc
When people know about you and they know what you can do, the next thing on their mind should be what can you do for them, this thought can either be subconscious or you induce it by telling them.
Now all this begs the question
How do I advertise
Well there are a few ways to do it, you could run a marketing campaign featuring your product or services or you post on twitter/x/linkedIn about the stuff you’ve built, or you do what I am doing i.e writing this blog.
Essentially you just need to put whatever you are selling infront of people ideally where they are most likely to spend most of their time on
PS : I know a blog is definitely not the place where people spend time most of their time.
Bait them or Ask
Once people know you and your skill set, they at some level trust you, atleast to do what you advertised. The next thing to do is just bait them to give you opportunities.. to simplify whenever you advertise just relate to the problem or situation that they face.
Another way or the simpler way is to just ask, this should have been the obvious solution, just ask people for the opportunity to help them with your skill to solve their problem, but humans with all their goodness and kindness are still creatures of habit. Those habits include not buying whatever the other guy is selling without a good reason when there are plenty of other options, so you better make your service or product look more appealing than their habits.
Who am I to say all this
Actually I am no one, at this point nobody knows about this blog apart from the people I’ve explicitly asked to come here, but this post is me pouring out what I know about this particular of life and the start of using my own advice
